Applicants lose more time to documents than to interviews. The list is short, but half of it belongs at the start and half of it belongs after you are matched to an approved job order, and getting that sequence wrong costs money.
Have these ready before you apply
- A valid passport
- NBI clearance
- PSA birth certificate
- Recent photographs
- A resume covering real work history
These come after you are matched
- Role-specific certificates and professional licences the job order names
- The medical examination, at a DMW-accredited clinic
- The Overseas Employment Certificate, issued as part of your processing
The medical is the one to watch. It comes after you are matched to a job order, never before, and never at a clinic an unlicensed recruiter insists on. The OEC is the DMW document confirming you are a lawfully processed overseas Filipino worker, and it is what exempts you from the travel tax and terminal fee at departure.
